Stiff Promo 7"

February 22nd, 2012 No Comments

So cool! Andy Wake at Songs From Under The Floorboards posted this blog about a greatest hits excerpts promotional 7″ that Stiff Records put out in 1977. It has bits of songs with a wacky radio DJ guy talking over them. Listen while it lasts! Hit up Side B that starts with: Elvis Costello – Watching The Detectives / Nick Lowe – Halfway To Paradise

Nick on Marc Maron's WTF Podcast

February 22nd, 2012 No Comments

Have a listen to Nick’s appearance on comedian Marc Maron’s infamous WTF Podcast this month. A chat & some songs!

“Nick Lowe is arguably at the top of his game and he is 62 years old. He was a pop sweetheart back in the day and has written some great songs but now he is a bonafide Troubadour. I saw him perform with just his guitar, an open heart and nothing to hide as performer and it was spectacular. We talk about his life in music and he dishes a bit about Elvis Costello and Johnny Cash AND he sings a couple of songs. It is a unique episode. Not your regular WTF”.
