We will continue to fill this in as we find stuff from the shows!

Fantastic review at chromewaves.net. Read all here.
Wilco has toured with a number of acts over the years, both established and not, but I’d never seen so many people in their seats for the opener before… but they’ve never had an opener as legendary as Nick Lowe. Performing solo and acoustic in support of his just-released new album The Old Magic, the former power-pop architect turned professor of sophisticated pop had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand as he charmed with both his banter and songs…..

The former Jesus Of Cool, Nick Lowe, has just released his new album, The Old Magic. Lowe, who has been recording since the 1960s is a veteran of the British pub rock scene (with his band Brinsley Schwartz) and the punk scene (producing The Damned and Elvis Costello). Lately his music has been a bit mellower. The 13th Floor spoke to Nick about the influences behind The Old Magic and his views on the music he was involved with in the late 70s.

Nick talks with Terry Gross on Fresh Air

Head over to the NPR site for The Fresh Air Interview: Nick Lowe.

**

Nick Lowe‘s songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, Solomon Burke and Diana Ross, to name just a few. But the English singer-songwriter, who wrote the hits “Cruel to Be Kind” and “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding,” doesn’t only write songs. He’s also recorded quite a few critically acclaimed pop albums of his own.

On Fresh Air, Lowe joins Terry Gross for an in-studio interview and performance featuring several songs from his 13th solo album, The Old Magic.
